Yves Saint Laurent Started as a young man with a desire for fashion, In 1953 Yves submitted 3 sketches to a contest for young fashion designers organized by the Internation Wool Secretariat. while living in paris him and his mother met Micheal De Bunhoff editor in chief of the paris edition of Vogue Magazine. De Bunhoff was impressed by the yound designer's talent.
Later that year Yves entered the International Wool Secretariat Competition again and won first prize beating his fellow friend designer Fernado Sanchez and young German student Karl Lagerfeld. This was the start of Yves Saint Laurent's left legacy.....THE REST IS HISTORY....
